<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify that electric conductivity of cooling target water decreases without nearly providing a sensor for detecting water quality. <P>SOLUTION: Beverage cooling device 10 performs control in such a way that: when a pair of electrodes 20a, 20b are covered with an ice layer and the electric resistance value between the pair of electrodes 20a, 20b reaches or exceeds an upper-limit set value, a freezing device 15 is caused to stop the operation thereof; and when the pair of electrodes 20a, 20b are covered with no ice layer and the electric resistance value between the pair of electrodes 20a, 20b is equal to or less than a lower-limit set value, the freezing device 15 is caused to operate. The beverage cooling device 10 includes notification means 23 notifying that the electric conductivity of cooling target water in a water tank 12 is less than a reference value suitable for detection of an ice thickness using the electric resistance value between the pair of electrodes 20a, 20b when a temperature sensor 22 detecting the temperature of the cooling target water in the water tank 12 detects that the temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature while the electric resistance value between the pair of electrodes 20a, 20b is continuously equal to or larger than the upper-limit set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
