<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign substance from easily adhering to a normally-open part, and to prevent damage to a float. <P>SOLUTION: A lever 13 is connected to a pivot shaft 12 rotatably supported in a support hole 11 provided within a valve chamber 6. A float 14, which floats up and sinks down in accordance with a liquid level within the valve chamber 6, is connected to the lever 13, and a valve element 17, which is seated on/off a valve seat 9 and opens/closes valve openings 7, 8, is connected to the lever 13. The pivot shaft 12 is formed such that its cross section becomes fan-shaped, and the support hole 11 is formed such that its cross section becomes fan-shaped with a center angle larger than that of the fan-shaped cross section of the pivot shaft 12. An upper radius part 22 of the fan-shaped cross section of the pivot shaft 12 is abutted on an upper radius part 23 of the fan-shaped cross section of the support hole 11, and thereby, the valve element 17 is prevented from being seated on the valve seat 9 and between the valve seat 9 and the valve element 17, normally-open gaps 24, 25 are provided on the whole surface of the seal surface of the valve seat 9. A lower radius part 26 of the fan-shaped cross section of the pivot shaft 12 is abutted on a lower radius part 27 of the fan-shaped cross section of the support hole 11, and thereby, the float 14 is prevented from colliding with top walls of the valve chamber 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
