The present invention relates to a method for production of direct reduction iron and a reduction firing apparatus. The apparatus may be dual-chamber stepping reduction furnace, single chamber stepping reduction furnace or single hearth down-draft reduction furnace, wherein dual-chamber stepping furnace comprises the left chamber, right chamber, material containing device, step mechanism, slag distributing device, charging device, heating burners, fume extraction path, charging device, material receiving tank having sealing cap and slag discharging path. The method mainly comprises the following steps: distributing and charging of slag into material containing device, carrying and sending of material containing device through preheating station, heating station and reduction station sequentially by step mechanism, at that reducing material is heated by combustion of fuel in heating burners, reducing material is discharged from material containing device into material receiving tank having sealing cap, material containing device is placed from which material is discharged on side of charge of second chamber, then next work circulation is begins. |
