<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging optical device and an image forming device that are capable of deepening depth of field. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging optical device comprises: a lens element with an incident surface and an emission surface arranged in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis; and a light branching element that is disposed on an optical axis of light emitted from the emission surface of the lens element, and disperses the emission light from the lens element into optical paths having a plurality of different optical path lengths to form a plurality of optical paths different in optical path length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
