<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery with suspicion of a failure from being used as it is. <P>SOLUTION: A battery information table 112 manages information related to a charging battery 101 mounted on a portable type sensor 102. A battery failure determination part 113 checks whether or not there is a failure in the charging battery 101 on the basis of the information related to the charging battery 101.
