<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve more suitable correction by predicting amplitude of banding at the time of printing and performing banding correction processing on the basis of the predicted amplitude. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device for forming images by an electrophotographic system includes: a device which moves periodically for image formation; storage means for storing a table to correct density variation caused by the device, created in a reference state of the device; prediction means for predicting amplitude of the variation in a state different from the reference state; and adjustment means for adjusting the table on the basis of the amplitude predicted by the prediction means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
