<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely attach/detach a ribbon cassette to/from a printer body. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer 100, a ribbon cassette 103 can be attached to/detached from the printer body, and holds an ink ribbon 401 to allow drawing or winding of the ink ribbon 401 positioned between a print head 101 and a platen 102 when it is attached to the printer body. Edge parts opposed to the ink ribbon in a head cover 104 covering the print head 101 have curved-surface projection parts 306, which are projected toward the ink ribbon 401 while the ribbon cassette 103 is installed to the printer body so that the print head 101 is surrounded by the ribbon cassette 103 and the ink ribbon 401. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
