<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection and control device which reduces a workload of operation and maintenance personnel with respect to a transient failure and facilitates operation and maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: When a failure alarm is output, operation and maintenance personnel output a re-start signal from a controller 70 for remote control to a protection and control device 10 in which a failure occurs. By the re-start signal, operation conditions of a main relay 40 of the protection and control device 10 are satisfied, and the main relay 40 operates. Operation of the main relay 40 of which a number of contacts is increased by an auxiliary relay 50 activates operation of a b-contact 50b of the auxiliary relay 50, and thereby power source lines P2 and N2 are made open. Power feeding to an arithmetic control unit 20 of the protection and control device 10 connected to the power source lines P2 and N2 is interrupted, and the arithmetic control unit 20 is reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
