<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: in withdrawing a unit including a shaft for supporting a photoreceptor from an apparatus body, there has been a case where a toner image carrying surface of an intermediate transfer body is damaged by the shaft, and resulting in causing image defects. <P>SOLUTION: A mechanism includes a guiding member that is at a guidance position for contacting a shaft to guide the shaft to avoid contacting an intermediate transfer body when a photoreceptor is not attached thereto, and moves to a retreat position where the guiding member does not contact the shaft when the photoreceptor is attached thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
