<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit configuration for diagnosing a fault of a changeover switch in a break light control circuit, even when a break light is blinking with a short cycle during sudden deceleration. <P>SOLUTION: When a break light 3 blinks during a sudden deceleration, a break control part 7 (ACC control part 7A) turns off a changeover switch SL1-RLY to be connected to the side of a contact point S2 by powering on a relay coil 40 through a break light control part 5, and keeps an electric connection path 2 in an open state. Simultaneously, the break control part 7 (ACC control part 7A) issues an ESS drive command to a changeover switch ICC-RLY, opens and closes the ICC-RLY by cyclically repeating power-on/off to a relay coil 42, and the break light 3 blinks with the same cycle. In diagnosing faults of the changeover switches SL1-RLY and SL2-RLY, depending on whether or not the changeover switch SL1-RLY and a second changeover switch SL2-RLY are actually generating operation signals during the ON command time of the changeover switch SL1-RLY, normal condition is determined when there are the operation signals and a fault is determined when there is no operation signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
