<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a control method therefor, and a program that are capable of inserting, into one structured document, a fragment as a part of another structured document even when these formats are different. <P>SOLUTION: A format of a structured document fragment to be inserted into a structured document is determined. The structured document fragment is analyzed on the basis of a combination of the determined format of the structured document fragment and the format of the structured document.
