METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ROLL MOLD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a roll mold where the fall of annular projections decreases and a method for manufacturing an optical sheet containing the method for manufacturing the roll mold concerned.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a roll mold and the method for manufacturing an optical sheet containing the method of manufacturing the roll mold concerned are characterized by including a cutting step which rotates a roll base substance 21 in which a layer to be processed is formed on the surface and forms a slot 23 corresponding to a convex part of an optical sheet on the layer to be processed with a cutting tool and using the cutting tools of different shapes for a first cutting step and a second cutting step, wherein the cutting step concerned includes the first cutting step and the second cutting step performed after the first cutting step.
