<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide videophone equipment that discriminates the type of a telephone of a call partner, and allows sending/receiving of routine text data (document) between callers through an extension only with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: Videophone equipment with a multiway calling feature includes: a storage part to store preset routine sentence data; and a predetermined specific operation means. The videophone equipment discriminates the type of telephone devices of a plurality of call partner telephone devices on the basis of telephone numbers thereof (steps S102 and S103), and determines a telephone device of a call partner to which the routine sentence data are transmitted, on the basis of the discriminated telephone type (step S104).
