<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a charge control in which charging speed and charging amount are optimized so as to charge necessary and sufficient electric energy by a required departure time in charging a battery of an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A charge control device comprises: a battery residual amount detection unit 15b for detecting a battery residual amount of an electric vehicle battery; a next trip information detection unit 15e for detecting the departure time of a trip using an electric vehicle next time and required power consumption in the next trip as next trip information; and a charge control unit 15c for determining charging speed and charging amount to charge the required power consumption by the departure time of the next trip on the basis of the battery residual amount and the next trip information, and charging the battery accordingly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
