<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which is capable of reducing reflection of external light on a virtual image of a display image while improving the display quality of the virtual image. <P>SOLUTION: In a head-up display device 100, a display image 71 is projected on a projection surface 91 formed on a windshield 90 to allow a virtual image of the display image 71 to be viewed from a preliminarily assumed eye box 60. The display image 71 to be projected on the projection surface 91 is formed on an imaging surface 31 of a screen 30 by laser light projected from a laser scanner 10. Convex portions 32 and concave portions 33 having lengths Px and Py in an x-axis direction and a y-axis direction respectively are alternately and continuously formed on the imaging surface 31. A z-axis direction perpendicular to a virtual reference plane RP on the imaging surface 31 is directed toward a region off a reflecting surface 41, so that a normal direction in each position of the imaging surface 31 can be directed toward a region off the reflecting surface 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
