<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing manufacturing cost and suppressing deterioration in display quality. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystal display device which comprises: a first substrate comprising a first insulating substrate and a first electrode having a first signal wiring which is positioned inside the first insulating substrate and extended along a first direction, a second signal wiring extended along a second direction crossing the first direction and a first main electrode extended along the second direction; a second substrate comprising a second insulating substrate and a second electrode having a color filter which is formed on the inner surface facing the first substrate of the second insulating substrate and in which the edge of the color filter is positioned immediately above the second signal wiring and a second electrode which is formed at a side facing the first substrate of the color filter by using an opaque wiring material and extended along the second direction at both sides sandwiching the first electrode; and a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules held between the first substrate and the second substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
