<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damages of a building caused by termites while ornamenting a foundation part of the building by a decorative laminate. <P>SOLUTION: In an inventive foundation structure with a decorative laminate, a decorative laminate 5 is mounted only in a prescribed range positioned further upward than a ground surface GL on the outer surface of a foundation 1, and a vertical interval H between the lowest side part Ls of the decorative laminate 5 and the ground surface GL is set to 50 mm or more and 150 mm or less. A material of a wavy cross-sectional shape alternately having base face parts 11 and protruding face parts 10 can be used as the decorative laminate 5.
