摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the temperature of water within a reactor in a shorter time while protecting materials constituting the reactor in accordance with the attenuation of decay heat of a core fuel. <P>SOLUTION: An emergency condensate system for a nuclear power plant comprises a reactor pressure vessel, a steam lead-in pipe which releases steam from the reactor pressure vessel, a steam condensation heat conduction pipe which condenses steam led from the steam lead-in pipe, a condensed water return pipe which is connected to the steam condensation heat conduction pipe and returns condensed water in the steam condensation heat conduction pipe to the reactor pressure vessel, and a heat conduction pipe cooling pool which stores water therein and with which the steam condensation heat conduction pipe is installed in the water. The steam condensation heat conduction pipe is divided into a plurality of units, condensate valves are installed in series in the respective steam condensation heat conduction pipe units, the condensate valve is comprised of a mechanical valve which is opened/closed independently mechanically, and opening/closing of the condensate valve is set individually in accordance with pressure in the reactor pressure vessel or water level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
