ELECTRODE DRYING METHOD AND ELECTRODE DRYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode drying method and an electrode drying device capable of shortening a drying time by efficiently volatilizing a solvent included in an electrode layer of a slurry state without causing deterioration of electrode performance.

SOLUTION: In this electrode drying device 10, the electrode layer 40 formed by applying electrode slurry 20 including the solvent 21 on an electrode foil 30 is dried in a drying furnace 50. The electrode drying device includes: an evaporation speed adjusting member 70 reducing a concentration difference between a solvent concentration remaining in the electrode layer and a solvent concentration in an atmosphere 57 in the drying furnace by increasing the solvent concentration in the atmosphere; and a heater part 80 providing heat for drying the electrode layer.
