<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatbelt device which can be inexpensively configured without using an electric element, and can gently constrain and protect an occupant while preventing a secondary collision at a collision by appropriately demonstrating an EA (Energy Absorption) function according to the physique of the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The seatbelt device 3 includes; a reel body 13 for winding webbing 5; a reel shaft 14 partially non-rotatably connected to the reel body 13 and projected from both ends of the reel body 13; a frame 7 for freely rotatably supporting both ends of the reel shaft 14; a first lock mechanism 9 and a second lock mechanism 10 for locking one end and the other end of the reel shaft 14 to the frame 7 respectively when a pull-out speed of the webbing 5 is at or above a prescribed value; and a lock blocking mechanism 11 for blocking the lock of the reel shaft 14 by the second lock mechanism 10 and twisting and deforming the reel shaft 14 when the pull-out amount of the webbing 5 is equal to or below a prescribed amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
