<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for a machine tool, which maintains preferable rotation and is made maintenance-free even under such high speed and high load that dmN exceeds 1,000,000 and contact surface pressure exceeds 1 GPa, and to provide a grease composition suitable for the rolling bearing for a machine tool. <P>SOLUTION: The grease composition includes: a base oil containing alkyl diphenyl ether oil in a proportion of at least 25 mass% of the total amount of the base oil; and a thickener containing metal complex soap and urea compound in a proportion of (metal complex soap/urea compound)=(10 to 90)/(90 to 10). There is also provided the rolling bearing for a machine tool, which includes the grease composition encapsulated therein and is used in such a usage that dmN exceeds 1,000,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
