<p>PURPOSE: A steering column is provided to improve the emotional quality of a user by minimizing the variation of operational force of an operation lever and consistently maintaining the usability of the operational lever. CONSTITUTION: A steering column(A) comprises an inner tube(100), an outer tube(200), an operation lever(300), and a taper. The inner tube is formed with a hollow in order to surround a steering column(110). The outer tube is formed with a hollow in order to accept the inner tube and is equipped with a pair of telescope guides(210) which is protruded on the outer circumference. The operation lever is installed in a telescope guide. The operation lever tightens or releases for the telescope or tilts the operation of the steering column. The mounting bracket is fixed to a vehicle body by surrounding the outer circumference of the outer tube. The taper is formed in the outside of the telescope guide to prevent the variation of operational force of an operative lever.</p> |
