<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display unit with a main display and an external display, which satisfies both visibility and operability of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular display unit includes: the main display 2 disposed in a forward position of a driver and adapted to display vehicle information; the external display 3, other than the main display 2, disposed in the forward position of the driver, adapted to display vehicle information and having a screen 3a functioning as an operation portion; and a display mover mechanism 10 including a gear belt disposed on a circumferential track and a gear mechanism configured to transmit a driving force of a driving source to the gear belt, and configured to move the external display 3 in a vehicle forward-rearward direction by a circumferential movement of the gear belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
