UNLUBRICATED SLIDING MEMBER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and long-lived unlubricated sliding member having a PTFE fabric liner used without lubrication as a sliding surface, which hardly causes surface flaws due to wear or sliding of the PTFE fabric liner with less friction resistance during sliding, and maintains initial performances even when slid for a long period.

SOLUTION: The unlubricated sliding member has a pair of sliding surfaces performing relatively sliding motions in contact with each other. One sliding surface is composed of a polytetrafluoroethylene-based fabric liner, and the other sliding surface is composed of a titanium alloy composite material obtained by adding carbon nanotubes to a titanium alloy.
