<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that allows a paper feed unit to be arranged adjacent to the device body, while improving workability in paper jam handling and reducing the width of a space required for the paper jam handling. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing first door 200 for exposing a conveyance path 140 is divided into an upper door 210 and a lower door 220. If a paper feed unit 400 has not been installed yet, the upper door 210 and the lower door 220 are connected to be integrally opened/closed. If the paper feed unit 400 has been installed, the upper door 210 and the lower door 220 are independently opened/closed.
