<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of images to be printed of a line head-type printing device. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device includes a head group equipped with several head pairs of a first head and a second head, which eject a first ink and a second ink, respectively, on a media, in a direction that intersects with a carrying direction to print images by forming dots by a first ink and the second ink on a band which is an area where ink is ejected by head pairs. The printing device obtains color differences which show the differences in colors of patches formed for each band by dots with the same diameter among several patches based on the results of color measurements of test patterns with several patches formed on each head pair by dots with different diameters on each band, and adjusts the amount of the first ink and the second ink ejected from the first head and the second head included in all the head pairs so that the dots have the diameter determined by the color differences. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
