<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detoxify hydrogen chloride generated in complete self-contained pyrolytical decomposition of converting mixed plastic wastes such as polyvinyl chloride into oil and making the oil and a residue serve as fuels. <P>SOLUTION: A method of separating a vapor and hydrogen chloride gas coming out together with high-temperature gas generated by the pyrolytical decomposition, and gas coming out of plastics, by respective operations, and detoxifying organic chlorine generated by condensation destroys and detoxifies the oxidative attacking ability of hydrogen chloride by cast iron chips or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
