<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for preventing poor fastening of an optical cable fixing fitting, which allows poor fastening of an optical cable fixing fitting to be easily confirmed and is capable of reducing the possibility of line failures without damaging coated optical fibers. <P>SOLUTION: The structure for preventing poor fastening of an optical cable fixing fitting includes a cover 10 to be attached to an optical cable fixing fitting 2, and the cover 10 includes: a main body 11 including a front surface plate 11a disposed opposite to a terminal surface of a tension member 1 inserted into an insertion hole 2a and a pair of side surface plates 11c extending from both sides of the front surface plate 11a toward the insertion hole 2a in parallel with each other; and a cover body 12 including an upper surface plate 12a freely turnably disposed at an upper end part of the front surface plate 11a to open/close a space above the side surface plates 11c and a rear surface plate 12b bent like L shape from the upper surface plate 12a to open/close the front end side of the side surface plates 11c. When the cover body 12 is closed, the cover body 12 passes an engagement part provided on the main body 11 and is held in a closed state, but in the case of poor fastening of a screw 3, the upper surface plate 12a comes into contact with the screw 3 and the cover body does not pass the engagement part and cannot be closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
