<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which a current collecting disk and a lead can be firmly joined together without using a brazing material in a discharge lamp which includes a plurality of metal foils disposed on a side surface of a sealing glass member in a sealing part of a light-emitting tube and the current collecting disk disposed on a side end surface of a light emission part of the glass member and in which the current collecting disk is formed by electrically connecting an internal lead having an electrode fixed thereto and the metal foil. <P>SOLUTION: A current collecting disk is composed of two current collecting disks overlapped so as to sandwich a metal foil therebetween. An internal lead has recesses formed on the outer peripheral surface and is inserted into a through hole formed in the current collecting disk. The current collecting disk is plastically deformed from both sides in the vicinity of the through hole and a part of the current collecting disk is inserted into the recesses of the internal lead, and the current collecting disk is caulked and fixed to the internal lead. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
