<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform decontamination work in simple configuration without allowing radioactive substances to flow out. <P>SOLUTION: A contaminated subject G such as soil or rice straw contaminated with cesium is immersed on electrolytic water W or steam is injected thereto, thereby performing contamination work. The radiation dose from the contaminated subject is remarkably reduced by the immersion or injection. Further, no radiation is detected from water flowing out from the vicinity of the contaminated subject G with the injection of steam. Therefore, it is not necessary to perform retreatment of electrolytic water W or the like used for decontamination or decontamination can be completed with simple retreatment and the costs required for the retreatment can be reduced remarkably. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
