<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide arrangement used in a linear module provided with e.g., a belt, a pair of cables or a drive screw. <P>SOLUTION: Each of two legs (32) comprises at least one rolling shoe (40). The at least one rolling shoe (40) comprises at least one set (42) of second rollers comprising at least one second roller (42.1, 42.2) rolling on a second guide rod (20) of a corresponding pair of guide rods (18, 20) and rotating about a second rotation axis (44.1, 44.2) fixed relative to the rolling shoe (40) and perpendicular to a translation axis (22). The rolling shoe (40) of each of the two legs is movable with respect to a carriage in a protruding direction perpendicular to the translation axis towards the second guide rod of the corresponding pair of guide rods between a retracted position and a protruding position.
