<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device capable of preventing a lock part from being broken by colliding against a stile of a sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: The lock device includes a main body 12 fitted to one glass door 3, and a flat plate type restriction part 13 arranged at the other glass door 4, The main body 12 is provided with a lock part 14 which swings between a projection attitude of projection from the main body 12 and a retraction attitude of retraction into the main body 12, a driving part 15 which drives the lock part 14, and a control part 17 which controls the driving part 15. The restriction part 13 is disposed where the restriction part abuts against the lock part 14 in the projection attitude when a sliding door 1 in a fully closed state is opened, and abuts to restrict the sliding door 1 from moving in an opening direction.
