In order to perform appropriate reception processing by using a method for estimating a covariance matrix (RI+N) on the basis of a cell-specific reference signal (CRS), this interference rejection combining (IRC) receiver (10) is provided with: covariance matrix estimation units (12, 13) which are configured in such a manner as to estimate a covariance matrix (RI+N) on the basis of a CRS; a missing element insertion unit (14) which is configured in such a manner as to insert arbitrary values in elements that cannot be estimated in an interference signal covariance matrix comprising an interference signal component contained in the estimated covariance matrix (RI+N); an IRC receive weight generation unit (16) which is configured in such a manner as to generate an IRC receive weight (WIRC) by using the covariance matrix (RI+N), in which arbitrary values were inserted, and a control signal; and a signal separation unit (17) which is configured in such a manner as to separate a data signal from a received signal by using the generated IRC receive weight and control signal. |
