PURPOSE: An electric roaster for roasting and stewing is provided to utilize a halogen lamp heater or a carbon heater radiating far-infrared ray and an electric heater with a direct heating mode, thereby effectively roasting meat. CONSTITUTION: An electric roaster for roasting and stewing includes a heat source unit(40) and a flame unit cover(50). The heat source unit includes a heat blocking plate(41), a support cover(42), multiple supporting members(43), a halogen lamp heater or a carbon heater(44), and an electric heater(45). The halogen lamp heater or the carbon heater and the electric heater are installed at the support member at respectively different heights. The heat blocking plate is installed at the inner center bottom of a flame unit body(10). The heaters are housed inside the upper side of the cover having a stepped part(51) for improving the heat radiation efficiency of the heaters. A first heat radiation hole(51a) and a second radiation hole(51b) are respectively formed at the side and the upper side of the stepped part.
