The present invention relates to a quenched environmentally friendly nickel slag ball using a high-speed gas, to a method for manufacturing same, and to an apparatus for manufacturing same. More particularly, the present invention relates to an environmentally friendly nickel slag ball (also known as an LS ball) having good hardness, to a method for manufacturing same, and to an apparatus for manufacturing same. The method includes dropping molten nickel slag generated during the production of ferronickel, which may be a raw material for stainless steel, through a tundish, spraying a high-speed gas onto the falling molten nickel slag to separate the molten nickel slag into minute liquid droplets, and quenching the minutely separated liquid droplets of molten nickel slag using the high-speed gas spray in ambient atmosphere.
