<p>[Problem] To provide a piezoelectric actuator capable of preventing fatigue failure in a welding part due to tensile stress. [Solution] A piezoelectric actuator according to the present invention has a piezoelectric element, a base body (5) in contact with one end of the piezoelectric element, and a case with an inner surface in contact with the other end of the piezoelectric element, and which houses the piezoelectric element therein. The case has a flange (301) to be joined to the base body (5). The piezoelectric actuator is formed by joining the base body (5) and the case by way of a welding part (4). The case (3) includes a cylindrical section (302), a curved section (303) that is curved and extends away from one end of the cylindrical section (302), and the flange (301) which extends further away from the curved section (303). The welding part (4) is provided spanning from between the flange (301) and the base body (5) to between the curved section (303) and the base body (5).</p> |
