<p>PURPOSE: A terminal with a touch screen and a data displaying method in the terminal are provided to change data corresponding to the moving direction of a touch event, thereby enabling the recognition of data sequences. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(140) comprises a display unit(145) and a touch sensor(147). The display unit displays data on a data display area. The touch sensor senses a touch event. When the touch event is sensed by a touch screen, a control unit(120) confirms the area in which the touch event is sensed in the data display area, and determines the movement of the touch event. When the touch event moves, the control unit rotates the data display area corresponding to the moving direction of the touch event by controlling the display unit, and displays data sequences corresponding to the rotating direction on the data display area.
