The invention relates to a high-current plug-in connector (1) for currents exceeding 100 A, in particular 200 A. Said high-current plug-in connector comprises a first connecting element (10) having a first contact section (11), and a second connecting element (20) having a second contact section (21). According to the invention, a spring element (30) is used to establish an electrical connection between the first and second connecting elements (10, 20). The first and second contact sections (11, 21) are in direct contact with each other, the spring element (30) that acts on the contact sections (11, 21) from outside generating a contact force which presses the contact sections (11, 21) against each other.
