<p>An inter-loop service protection method and apparatus, including: for inter-loop services with the same inter-loop node and destination node, configuring a shared channel for the inter-loop services on the same loop which they pass by, and on an inter-loop node, performing intra-loop channel binding, designating a master inter-loop node and a standby inter-loop node, and binding a channel for each inter-loop service on the on-ring node and off-ring node of said inter-loop service; and detecting whether the loop which the inter-loop service passes by has a status change, and if there is a status change, then performing protection switching or switchback processing. The present invention can avoid establishing a corresponding inter-loop protection path for each inter-loop service, reducing configuration complexity; in addition, for inter-loop services with the same inter-loop node and destination node, they can be aggregated onto a shared working channel or protection channel for transmission, reducing the workload of configuring the working channel and the protection channel.</p> |
