The invention relates to a method for handling products (28, 30) in a product handling system (10), comprising the following method steps: a) providing at least one product (28, 30) on a flexible setting surface (32), b) placing a cage (60) equipped with at least one movable group of support members (38, 40) onto the flexible setting surface (32), c) imposing at least one deflection (74, 76) on the flexible setting surface (32) and shifting the deflection (74, 76) along the flexible setting surface (32), and d) simultaneously moving the at least one group of support members (38, 40) into a gap (68) produced by the at least one deflection (74, 76) between the flexible setting surface (32) and an underside of the products (28, 30). The invention also relates to a method for palletising products (28, 30). The invention further relates to a machine for handling products (28, 30) and to the use of said machine for palletising products (28, 30). |
