In the present invention, a display unit (20) has a display unit microcomputer (21) which performs processing for: transmitting a removal preparation command to a CPU unit (10) in response to an operation by a user; displaying that a removable state has been reached upon an LCD (24) in response to receipt of a removal preparation acknowledgement command; and notifying the CPU unit (10) of a power OFF preparation completion command indicating, after displaying that a removable state has been reached upon the LCD (24), that preparation for stopping of supply of power has completed. The CPU unit (10) has a CPU unit microcomputer (11) which performs processing for: transmitting the removal preparation acknowledgement command to the display unit (20) when receiving the removal preparation command; transmitting a reset signal for causing the display unit (20) to enter a reset state upon receiving the power OFF preparation completion command; and stopping supply of power to the display unit (20) that has entered the reset state.
