The invention relates to a measuring device (6) for detecting the passing of a threshold value (41) of the level of a liquid, comprising a package (9) enclosing a capacitive measuring antenna (12) intended to measure said passing and placed on an insulating wall (10) of the package (9), said wall being intended to make contact with the liquid at least temporarily, the device being characterised in that it furthermore comprises: a reference capacitive antenna (15) placed in the same medium as the measuring antenna (12) but completely isolated from the liquid to be measured; and a microcontroller (21) able to subtract in real time the capacitance of the measuring antenna (12) from that of the reference antenna (15) and to compare the value obtained to said threshold value (41).
