FIELD: biotechnologies.SUBSTANCE: synthetic oligonucleotide primers are proposed, as well as the method to detect Lactobacillus acidophilus in starter cultures used in production of cultured milk foods. The proposed method includes performance of PCR. In case a DNA ferment is detected with size of 412 base pairs. A conclusion is made on availability of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the investigated material.
