A power conversion section comprising a bidirectional converter (32), an auxiliary DC-DC converter (36) and a main DC-DC converter (22) selectively executes first power conversion, in which power supplied from outside the vehicle is converted to stored power of a storage battery section (12, 40), and second power conversion, in which power stored in the storage battery section is converted to output power to outside the vehicle. When the power that is output to outside the vehicle on execution of second power conversion, or the amount of power, is more than is demanded normally, or when, in an emergency, charging of the storage battery section is performed from outside the vehicle, the aforementioned power conversion section executes first power conversion such that the status amount indicating the charging condition of the storage battery section is more than normal. |
