<p>The method involves controlling an electric drive motor (M) used for driving a hydraulic pump (5) having constant cylinder capacity such that the pump feeds a cooling nozzle (6) with machining fluid at a constant flow rate (D1) that is equal to a flow rate setpoint (D). A parameter representing fluid outlet pressure (P) at the nozzle is measured. An outlet pressure (Pestim) estimated from the parameter, is compared with a preset pressure threshold (Ps1). The motor is controlled to increase the fluid flow rate delivered by the pump if the estimated output pressure drops below the threshold.</p> |
