<p>The present invention provides a method, base station and user equipment for assigning and acquiring a physical cell identity, so as to solve the problem of the assignment of physical cell identities in a carrier aggregation system. The method for assigning a physical cell identity comprises: a base station dividing all aggregated component carriers into a first component carrier for bearing control signaling and a second component carrier for bearing data transmission; the base station assigning public physical cell identities to the first component carrier and the second component carrier; the base station acquiring a link performance parameter value of a client; and the base station, upon determining that the link performance parameter value exceeds a first preset threshold value, reassigning physical cell identities to the first component carrier and/or the second component carrier. By means of the technical solutions provided in the present invention, the defect that inter-cell interferences increase when only a single public physical cell identity is used and the defect that the channel performance is degraded when different physical cell identities are used can be overcome.</p> |
