A security system for a mobile communication network according to the present invention comprises: a traffic collection system, which is installed in a section between SGSN and GGSN, for collecting incoming traffic to a mobile communications network; an abnormal traffic detection system for receiving traffic from the traffic collection system and extracting necessary fields therefrom; and a control system for controlling security threats caused by an abnormal terminal corresponding to the information extracted by the detection system. The security system according to the present invention defines the security threat in a mobile communication network and proposes an approach to resolve same.
