<p>The invention relates to the field of water supply, specifically to compositions used for purifying and disinfecting water which is primarily intended for use as domestic drinking water. The composition comprises, as components, an aluminium-containing coagulant and a cationic flocculant, wherein the coagulant used is aluminium sulphate, and the flocculant used is polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride (PHMG) with a mass ratio of the first and second components of from 10:1 to 150:1. The invention provides high-quality purification and disinfection of water and is also characterized by being simple and economical to use.</p> |
