PURPOSE: A female terminal pitting and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress the quantity of plating materials used for electric connection by compressing a male terminal tab with an inward contact surface and an elastic contact piece. CONSTITUTION: One or more soft gold plating layers(G) are formed on an elastic contact piece(12) and an inward contact surface(11). The soft gold plating layers are formed on a top surface or end surface of an embossing contact portion(12a). The soft gold plating layers are formed on stepped contact portions(11a,11b). |
