Disclosed are a method and a device for sending uplink control information. The method comprises: in a time-division duplex (TDD) system, when a multi-antenna transmission mode is configured for a PUCCH transmission mode and it is configured to feed back ACK/NACK information by using format 1b with channel selection, a UE selecting a transmission diversity scheme according to the configured number of serving cells and the number of downlink subframes corresponding to uplink subframes where the PUCCH is located; the UE, according to the selected transmission diversity scheme, sending the uplink control information. The present invention solves the technical problem in the prior art that transmission fails to be implemented in a multi-antenna mode through channel selection in a TDD system, so as to implement the transmission in a multi-antenna mode in a channel in a TDD system.
